You can delete your account yourself from within the app at any time. Deletion cannot be undone.

1. Delete from the app (recommended)

  1. Open the Pojipo app
  2. Open the “Me” tab (in app versions up to 1.0.9, the “Settings” tab)
  3. Tap “Delete account” at the very bottom
  4. Review what will be deleted, then tap “Continue”
  5. If you’re asked why you’re leaving, choose reasons if you like and tap “Next”, or tap “Continue without answering” (you can delete either way)
  6. Type DELETE to confirm, then tap “Permanently delete”

Once confirmed, your account and the data below are permanently removed from our servers.

2. If you can’t use the app

If you can’t operate the app (e.g. a lost device), email us from your registered address at info@pojipo.com with the subject “Account deletion request”. After verifying your identity, we will delete your account within 7 days. You can also use the contact form (type “Account deletion”).

Deleting some data without deleting your account

You can also delete only the posts you’ve made, without deleting your account.

  1. Open “Delete posts” on the “Me” tab (in app versions up to 1.0.9, the “Settings” tab)
  2. Choose the post you want to remove and delete it

Individually deleted posts are removed from our servers immediately and permanently. For bulk deletion, email info@pojipo.com.

What gets deleted when you delete your account

Data retention

When you delete, the data above is removed from our servers immediately and permanently. However, if another user reported one of your posts, the post’s text and nickname contained in that report are kept for one year after we receive the report, to handle it and prevent abuse, and then deleted. Copies in our server’s recovery records also disappear within 30 days at most. Records may also be kept for longer where the law requires it. Deleted data cannot be recovered.
